Can guys wear School Sweatpants with writing on the ?

So a while ago my school came out with its yearly clothing order form. One of the choices is sweatpants. At the time, I was craving some school clothes and I went down the list. Sweater - dont like them. Shorts - cant wear them all seasons. Shirt - have to many as is. Sweatpants - dont own a single pair of sweats. Can wear them anywhere basically. There comfy and at the time they seemed really sweet. So, I had the colour option between grey and navy and also had the option whether or not to get THUNDER on the of the sweatpants. Now I picked grey with THUNDER on the . I ordered them in grey as I thought it would go with just about anything. As for the THUNDER bum, yes I am a guy, but this is my justification: Why would you order a pretty much plain pair of sweatpants (only other thing on them is STA written in small light green lettering down the left leg). I thought the THUNDER would add a little kick an otherwise plain pair of school sweatpants. So I handed in the order and didn't hear much until one day we were called down to pick up our school clothing. They had lineups for everything. As I was walking up I examined the lineup for sweatpants. Just about every girl in my grade was in it as well as a couple guys. I stepped in the sweatpants ine only to have one of my good friends pull up behind me. As they were folding/handing me my sweats, she caught a glance of the THUNDER plastered across the . I waited for her. She got hers in navy with THUNDER on the , She was kinda curious as to why I got the THUNDER on my , but she didnt say to much. The next day was school spirit day and I thought what better way then to show school spirit then to wear my sweats. I threw them on the next day. As I rolled into the school with my THUNDER butt sweats on, I was greeted to the sight of many girls expressing there school like me on there booties. No one said much to me and a couple girls even complemented my sweats. Is it normal for so many girls to own this type of sweats as compared to guys?
