How do I stop my 0g plugs from falling out?

Today I started using teflon tape to stretch my 0g's to a 00g's. i wrapped my plus in 3 or 4 layers of teflon tape (hard to keep track) then lathered them up with vitamine E oil for lubricant. they slid right in and barely feel like theyre any thicker. I know i could add more tape but i want to take it slow cuz i know with stretching you cant be to careful. my only problem is, they are still loose enough i think they may fall out, espesially when i sleep. and if i try to put the O ring on all it does is push the tape and mess it up. so bically i cannot use my o-ring. its a single flair plug. how do i keep them from falling out?
