How do i shorten film lenghts using dvd flick?

hey all,iv just started using dvd flick,iv got the hangover film encoding its taken 7hours so far,and its only 1hour and 30minutes long,how do i shorten the film so i cut out all the credits,both and the beginning and end?if someone could make a slide show showing me or a youtube video id be very grateful
