you should really get 2 it needs to be around another like itself. they sell all different types of foods so if u dont want to deal with live insects they do sell freeze dried mealworms. they also like to eat fruits and veggies. heads up before you buy one though food can get expensive, they smell as bad as ferretts, and are nocturnal so they bark during the night good luck
