Why Greek bishop claim for occupation on Bitola, Macedonia?

Greece wants to annex Macedonia based on "history"; first history I can recall is that Macedonia was and independant country and actually conquered Greece under Phillip (Alexander the Great's father). Alexander was actually a Macedonian and not a Greek; the Greeks considered them barbarians until they shared world conquest with them. Personally the Macedonians should decide and the historical reference would be that Macedonia should want to annex Greece.
